• Creating or editing Bayesian networks

  How to create or delete nodes and plates, how to set their positions and sizes and how to modify their properties.

• Performing Variational Inference

  How to check and initialise your network and how to monitor node values and the lower bound.

• Importing data and exporting results

  How to import observed data, plate sizes etc. from Matlab and how to export your results back to Matlab.

• Using VIBES from within Matlab (BETA)

  How to programmatically load networks, attach data and perform inference directly from Matlab. This functionality is in beta and hence is not fully tested.

Support for VIBES

VIBES is free, unsupported software. I have made every effort to make it bug-free and easy to use, but I cannot provide support to individuals. However, if I have time, I will review bugs and feature requests - you can log them under Bugs or RFE on the Sourceforge project page.
